What is your role?
I work primarily as an Audit Senior, leading audit teams across our range of clients, getting the opportunity to go out and meet clients and help to improve their systems. My role at the Boston office includes being responsible for Corporate Tax compliance for our many limited company clients. I am also a member of the firm’s cross-office committees – including Corporate & Business Tax Group and VAT Group.
What else are you involved with?
I am a Lieutenant with the Alford Boys Brigade and lead the company and senior section (11-18 year olds).
What interests do you have outside of work?
I am the vice-chairman of the Trusthorpe Village Pantomime Group, an organisation that prepares an annual pantomime for local children and adults to take part in. I have performed on stage as various characters overs the years and also directed the pantomime.
What is your most memorable experience?
Holding my baby daughter for the first time.
What is the most valuable piece of advice you have been given during your career?
It’s either right or it’s wrong!
What is your favourite...
Book? A difficult question as I love so many books, currently it is probably the Demon Cycle Series by Peter V. Brett.
Board game? I love “Sorry” a board game similar to ludo, which we used to play with my Grandpa.
Gadget? A pen knife – you just never know when you might need a knife, or a screwdriver.
