What is your role?
I specialise in high net worth and private client taxation management and have particular expertise in dealing with post-retirement clients.
What else are you involved with?
I am a keen supporter of RABI, a regional and national farming charity with close personal ties. I organise an annual quiz for the Ladies NFU local branch where the prize is The bone of Contention as it is the ladies teams versus the men’s teams for that quiz.
What interests do you have outside of work?
Walking my border terrier each day has introduced me to fellow dog walkers which can be fun. I enjoy cooking and entertaining at home, events from Burns Nights, Sausage and Mash suppers to French cuisine. Reading is ‘me’ time for 20 minutes or so each day.
What is your most memorable experience?
Attending the graduation of my 6ft 4in son knowing he was no longer my little boy and feeling that the baton of life had been passed to the next generation, job well done.
What is the most valuable piece of advice you have been given during your career?
Never forget, it is clients who make pay days possible.
