We have a specialist education team, and you will be able to take advantage of their knowledge and experience.

We act for numerous academies of various sizes throughout Lincolnshire and Nottingham, including primary and secondary schools, a sponsored academy and a federation. We have also assisted a free school with their application to the Department for Education. In addition, we perform the role of the responsible official for many of our academy clients. As a result we have significant experience of dealing with the unique issues facing academies.

As school governors ourselves we have a practical understanding of the current matters that concern you.

How can we help?

We can assist you with your accounting requirements, including in-year reporting, year end financial statements and the auditing requirements of the Charities and Companies Acts.

Regular pre-year and in-year reporting is currently required by the DfE and we can help with the preparation of the various reports required.

We can help you to monitor your financial position such as cash flows and budgeting in accordance with the controls required by the DfE guidelines.

We have specialist tax advisers (including VAT and PAYE) who can help you minimise costs in these areas whilst maximising any claims.
