 Mark
H. Chatterton FCA BSc (Hons) is based in
Newark and specialises in agriculture. He
advises over 100 family farming businesses
in the East Midlands. Mark comes from a
farming family and has gained a degree in
agriculture. His experience includes assisting
businesses with change and understanding
all financial and taxation issues and is
often involved with agricultural joint ventures.
Mark lives in the Vale of Belvoir and is
a keen amateur Point to Point rider.

Ian
Phillips FCA has the responsibility of
being the partner in charge at both our Newark
and Lincoln offices. A general practitioner,
Ian has extensive experience in dealing with
family businesses and is known for his practical
commercial advice. His client base covers
a wide range of industries and trades and
the whole cross section of size of business.
With a strong IT background he regularly advises
clients on computer issues and he has responsibility
for the firm's own computer strategy. Ian
is Company Secretary for Beaumond House (the
Newark Hospice), Chairman of Governors of
Claypole School and a keen Round Tabler. He
lives near to Newark and his hobbies include
football, classic cars and music. Ian's brother
Keith is a partner at the Sleaford office.
Simon
Shaw FCCA works from the Newark office
acting for a wide range of local businesses.
He specialises in advising small and medium
sized family businesses on a variety of issues
including taxation and business structures.
Simon recognises the need for practical solutions
in an ever changing business environment.
Living in the Newark area he is actively involved
in many local business and charity organisations
including being the treasurer of the Newark
Business Club. He is also a member of the
Rotary Club of Newark.
