Ian Phillips FCA is the partner in charge at both our Newark and Lincoln offices. As general practitioner Ian has extensive experience in dealing with family businesses and is known for his practical commercial advice. His client base includes businesses of all sizes from start up to well established. He advises numerous agricultural businesses in addition to clients operating in a diverse range of industries and trades. With a strong IT background he regularly advises clients on computer issues and he has responsibility for the firm's own computer strategy. Ian is a Director and Company Secretary for Beaumond House (the Newark Hospice), Chairman of Governors of Claypole School and a keen member of Newark 41 Club. He lives near to Newark and his hobbies include football, classic cars and music. Ian's brother Keith is a partner at the Sleaford office.

Mark Chatterton FCA BSc (Hons) is based in Newark and specialises in agriculture. He advises over 100 family farming businesses in the East Midlands. Mark comes from a farming family and has gained a degree in agriculture. His experience includes assisting businesses with change and understanding all financial and taxation issues and is often involved with agricultural joint ventures. Mark lives in the Vale of Belvoir and is a keen amateur Point to Point rider.
