 Peter Townsend FCA is based in Grantham and is the firm’s Chairman. He has extensive experience of auditing businesses of all sizes and also acts for numerous local businesses. Peter is also Managing Director of Castlegate Financial Management. Peter lives in Grantham and lists tennis, squash and gardening amongst his hobbies as well as supporting the Leicester Tigers. He was for many years a member of the Rotary Club of Grantham and Governor of The King’s School and is currently a Trustee. He is a Regional Councillor for the CBI East Midlands.

Andy Severn is the Partner in charge of the Grantham office and Head of Tax for the practice. Andy joined the firm in December 1983 and specialises in tax compliance and planning affecting individuals, settlements and businesses. Andy has particular expertise in advising agricultural estates and on farm diversification projects.
Andy is Chairman of Bishopsgate Corporate Finance Ltd and a Director of Castlegate Financial Management Ltd.
Andy lives in the Grantham area and lists cars, sport, travel and good food as his interests.

 Mike Argyle BSc (Hons) FCA is extremely knowledgeable in computer related issues and regularly advises clients on these issues. He has an extensive portfolio of clients covering all sizes and types of business. He is also a Director of our sister company Bishopsgate Corporate Finance Limited. Mike lives in the Grantham region and is Treasurer of The King’s School Old Boys Society. He lists walking and gardening amongst his hobbies and has completed an expedition to the foot of Mount Everest.
