Charity Golf Day

The 18th Annual Duncan & Toplis Charity Golf Day was held at Belton Woods Hotel, Grantham on Friday 4 July 2008. A total of 82 teams played both the Lakes and the Woods courses and an enjoyable day was had by all which was helped by the lovely sunshine.

A total of £6,000 was donated equally between the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance and the Louth & District Hospice. This equals the record amount that we raised last year.

Winners on the Lakeside Course were the Castlegate Crew – Nick Lawson, Mick Stanley and Richard Burnett (82 points) and winners on the Woodside Course and Overall winners were RMP Contractors – Rob Palframan, Gary Farmer and Nev Hibbitt (89 points).

The Duncan & Toplis Golf Society would like to thank everyone for taking part and all the sponsors who supported the day. Without their commitment the day would not be the success that it is.
